PSI TECH is a company in the business of providing services related to technical remote viewing. It was started in 1989 primarily by Ed Dames, as a way to bring CRV protocols to the general public. His wife Jonina Dourif and later F.M. Bonsall were influential in its development, with F.M.B. formally contacted to develop an infrastructure for distribution of literature packs. Major General Albert Stubblebein, a retired two star INSCOM General, sat on the board, and many of the old Stargate Project veterans participated on a contract basis through the 1990s. The company can be seen in part as an outcome of the frustration that the Stargate Project team felt concerning the management of the CRV process internally within the military and intelligence establishment. But it was also formed from an idealistic desire to bring CRV to the general public. However, Ed Dames rapidly acquired a reputation as "Dr Doom," on talk shows, the most notable of which being Coast-to-Coast AM with Art Bell. He would announced dire predictions of destruction that never came true. While they helped sell a lot of copies of his Mindazzle introductory remote viewing training kits, he became increasingly isolated from the other ex-military remote viewers. Finally, Ed left PSI TECH, and after a protracted legal battle involving allegations of theft, which Ed Dames and F.M.B. lost, Jonina Dourif (now divorced from Ed) controls the intellectual property of PSI TECH.
