James Redfield (b. March 19 1950) is an American novelist.

James Redfield was born near Birmingham, Alabama. His novel The Celestine Prophecy has sold over ten million copies worldwide. A film version of the book, called The Celestine Prophecy: The Movie, is due for release in 2006.
