The Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) is an unidentified flying object research group. It was founded in 1973 by astronomer Dr. J. Allen Hynek, a consultant to Project Blue Book. Based in Chicago, CUFOS is a small research organization stressing scientific analysis of UFO cases. Its extensive archives include old NICAP files. CUFOS is currently run by Dr. Mark Rodeghier.
